Spider Mania!

After singing the 'Incy Wincy Spider' rhyme, we have been very busy looking for spiders in their webs! We have made our own gigantic spider's web outside our classrooms, displaying our own spider art! Have a look :-)

Our children have been in school for such a short time but already they have settled so well!

We have been very busy making, creating, learning, singing, dancing and laughing! The list is endless.

We're pleased with the children's response to phonics and thank you for all your support with their learning. Please continue to guide your children at home with not only their phonics work, but also their number activities!

How much do our feet cost?

We have been working out how much our feet might cost by filling them with either 1p's or 10p's! We found out that some of our feet are more expensive than others! Have a look!

Britain's Got Talent

Liam and Shudhit made the theatre and Simon Cowell for' Britain's Got Talent' out of Duplo. Can you see the raised seating, the judge and the stage?

Safari in Caterpillar Class!

Caterpillars went on a safari to South Africa creating stories art and masks of the animals. At the end of all this work we performed an assembly with singing, slide show, African drumming and a solo piano piece. We had a terrific time learning all about these animals.

FSU Singing

This week the children in Bumblebees, Caterpillars and Ladybirds have been learning new songs ready for their concert. The children are very excited to be singing for their Friends and Family and the concert promises to be a good one!

This week at Nursery we have used information books and the computer to help us to find out about Dinosaurs.

We painted pictures of dinosaurs. We used non-fiction books to help us to find out the names of the dinsoaurs and more about them.

We are enjoying our new Outside Area equipment which includes, a new climbing frame,  monkey bars, a climbing net, a large sand pit (which we can sit in!) and a water activity centre!
