Forest School 13th April

Ladybird & afternoon Bumblebee classes enjoyed their first day back to Forest School of the year. It was lovely to have a warm & sunny spring day.

We spotted lots of signs of spring, & many different bugs & insects.

"It's a slug, it's like a snail"

"I found a slug and a woodlice - I'm going to call the slug 'slimy'"

The boys worked together to collect slugs. "It's slippery"

The children found the first ladybird of the year, it had 5 spots.

The daffodils that the children planted in December are looking beautiful.

"I planted this one, the tallest one"

As always, the digging pit is very popular.

I made a bunny house. It has eyes and a mouth and 2 ears made from grass".

When Karen went to check on Forest school at lunchtime, she found a cheeky visitor enjoying a snooze in the sunshine!
