Forest School 11th March

Ladybird children had a go at mud painting.

They mixed some soil with a lot of water to make a wet mud mixture, & painted on different surfaces.

"I can see the patterns on the tree"
"I painted a snowflake"
We noticed lots of signs of Spring

"Look, a caterpillar has made a hole in the leaf"

Bumblebees used mud to make models. they mixed soil with a little water to make a clay-like mixture.
The mixture was "gloopy" and "soft". The children used their hands to shape the mud into Humpty Dumpty & Incy Wincy Spider models.
