This week at Nursery we will be beginning our
Easter celebrations!
"Hens Pen's"
On Monday we listened to the story "Hen's Pens". In the story Hen enjoys decorating her eggs with her brand new pens. Hen asked the children in Bumble Bee class to help her to decorate more of her eggs. She left Easter sweets for all the children who helped her!
Max drew these great patterns on the whiteboard.
We counted the correct number of eggs to give to different numbered hens.
We decorated eggs using paint and cotton buds.
We used ladles to scoop out Easter eggs from the water tray.
We have enjoyed searching for eggs in our role play area!
Our Phonics Focus
In addition to revising the sounds which we have learnt so far, the new sounds which we will be learning this week are f and l.
Our Maths Focus
We will be continuing to focus on numbers which are of personal significance to the children and sharing the photographs and drawings which the children have bought in from home.
