We learnt how to make a spark using a special tool.

Lila was very brave, showed perseverance and determination and got her little fire started!

Toasted marshmallows.

We still managed some number work - ordering numbers to 20.

 Being safe on the scooters.

Great tricks.

Having a go ourselves!

Wednesday’s fun!
Today we started off by going into our Forest School area and joining two ladies from Bexley’s Schools Waste Action Club (SWAC).  They taught us the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

We helped to make a bug hotel; searching all the areas we know to add the best twigs, dried leaves and bit, as well as some bugs.

I've got a bug to put in the bughotel.

This snail is coming out of its shell.

Lenny is a ladybug so he can go in our bug hotel!

It tickles.

Look what's under this log.

We finished the day with Ben Bullen team building games.
We were on an island and had to get across to the benches, where we could then return safely home.  BUT, we couldn’t touch the floor or the crocodiles would eat us.  Luckily we had crocodile proof squares and some wooden planks.

In the outside classroom - which is now our island.

We worked as a team to get across safely.

Pass it down.

Yes..... we're across.

Making shapes using a rope and teamwork!

Out at a very muddy forest school today

Painting with mud.

Oh no I hope we don't get in trouble for painting the walls.

Lovely mud.

Glorious mud.

With Jack the animal man!

We were really brave. Even Jacqui and Lizzie had a go.
