Busy Bumblebees

Welcome to Bumblebees Nursery Blog!

The children have had a fantastic start to their first term at Upland! Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and carers for your support.

Over the first two weeks, the children have been coming in gradually to help aid transition from home to big school. Over this time, they have been getting to grips with the nursery rules and routines including finding their name and choosing a book in the morning, sitting on the carpet to sing and listen to stories, having a snack and a drink and using the toilet and washing their hands independently.

They have also been making their own bumblebees for our display in the cloakroom.

In addition, they have started getting to know the adults in the classroom and began to make new friends.

The children have been really busy trying out new activities from mark making...

...
...to role play both inside and outside...

...to small world play...

...to working on a building site!

Please keep reading the blog to find out what we will be learning about this term.
