Bumble Bee Class - week beginning 08.02.16

Our week will begin with learning activities based around the story, "Owl Babies".

We painted pictures of characters and events which took place in the, "Owl Babies" story.

This is Bill. He said, "I want my mummy"

At the Writing Area table we patterned owl pictures.

Safer Internet Day
On Tuesday 9th February it is Safer Internet Day. In Nursery we will be approaching this theme by focussing on people that help us and keep us safe all of the time.

Our letter sounds this week are: - o and c / k

We played a phoneme pop game on the interactive whiteboard.

Active Learning.
We are being encouraged at nursery to: 

* maintain focus on an activity for a period of time.

* persist with an activity when challenges occur.

* be proud of how we have accomplished something. 

Look at our fantastic achievements this week! 

Chloe and Muiz completed the jigsaw puzzles all by themselves.

Albie has learnt how to travel safely over the top of the A-frame climbing net.

Zachary traced the pattern using the beads.
