Dinosaur Roar!

We are continuing our dinosaur theme in nursery this week.

For our maths activities we are learning to use the language involved in addition by adding 2 groups of dinosaurs together and recording the total.

Altogether I have 7

It makes 9.

Using the story Dinosaur Roar as an introduction we will be learning to use words to describe different textures and opposites.

We enjoyed playing with the dinosaurs in the slime!
It feels soft, it's like a slug! John
It feels soft and slimy Dempsey
It smells nice, it's all sticky! Brianna

We made different textures by printing objects into play dough.
It's gone blobby now.

Using bubble wrap we printed bumpy patterns onto a dinosaur.

We completed an opposites puzzle.
Awake and sleeping, open and closed.

Night time and day.

Full and empty.

We made our own dinosaur worlds using natural materials.
We have made a dinosaur playground!

We stacked the speed stacking cups to make dinosaur homes.

On the interactive white board we also made our own dinosaur worlds by clicking and dragging objects.
