Bumble Bees - week beginning 18.01.16

This week at Nursery our learning activities will be based around the stories, The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Rainbow Fish.

On Monday we listened to the story The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

We answered questions about the story setting, characters and events.

At the Writing Area table we patterned tea pots.

At the Messy Table we made tiger stripes by ripping pieces of black paper and sticking them onto orange paper.

At the Fine Motor table we used tweezers to move sugar cubes from one bowl to another.

The tweezers make the muscles in our hand strong! Zachary 

In the water tray we enjoyed making cups of tea!

Maths Focus

This weeks number focus is the number 8.

We will also be learning to recognise and name Numicon shapes from 1-8.

Phonics Focus

The letter sounds which we will be learning this week are 't' and 'i '.
