Bumble Bees - week beginning 25.01.16

This week we will be continuing our fish themed activities through the rhyme, '12345 Once I Caught A Fish Alive' and the stories, 'Smiley Shark' and 'Tiddler'.

We will be teaching the skills for counting carefully groups of objects. These are:

To line up objects before you count them.

To touch the objects as you count them.

To count slowly using a big counting voice.

To remember the last number counted is the total number of objects. 

We counted fishes on the interactive whiteboard too! 

Phonics Focus

The letter sounds we will be learning this week are i and n.

At the Writing Area we wrote invitations.

We practised writing the letter i on the interactive whiteboard. 

When the weather is very rainy and we cannot go outside we enjoy joining in with the Cyber Coach on the interactive whiteboard!

We join in with Coach Kardys exercises - it's good fun!
